It’s all about things falling into place–about timing and being in the right place at the right time and having the time to stick with it. I’ve done a lot of crazy things and you’ve all heard about them such as applying to every single Survivor (and even being interviewed in Salt Lake for the first one), applying to The Amazing Race (twice), winning a field goal contest down here (35 yards), flunking out of clown college (not really) and my countless celebrity encounters (Angelina Jolie, Yasmine Bleeth, etc).
As of late things have been “clicking” if you will. It’s like my eyes have been opened. I’m doing a lot of writing in my spare time and the ideas keep flowing.
My mentor at work is surprised at how fast I’m catching on.
I’m lifting more weight at the gym even but I can’t seem to lose that gut (I know there’s a 6-pack somewhere behind my 2-liter) that I made for myself eating out all the time while traveling on the road for the past 2.5 years.
